The Nederland woman's body was found Wednesday morning.

BOULDER COUNTY, CO -- The Boulder County Coroner's Office has identified the woman found dead Wednesday 2 miles from the Fourth of July trailhead as 61-year-old Sandra Pletschet of Nederland. A news release from the coroner's office stated that her death remains under investigation, according to the Daily Camera.

The Boulder County Sheriff's Office previously stated that investigators do not believe there are suspicious circumstances surrounding Pletschet's death.

Tuesday, Oct. 30, two hikers reported to the Nederland Police Department that they had been hiking from the Fourth of July trailhead and had heard a woman yell but were unable to locate her. Representatives from the Boulder County Sheriff's Office, Rocky Mountain Rescue, and Front Range Rescue Dogs responded to the area. Work continued overnight after crews found the hiker's car, a blue Subaru, at the trailhead.
