- Homeless 101: Boulder Beat's third installment on their series. Today, the who, what, when and where digs into how folks living in on the street got into the situation in the first place, and there's more to it that meets the eye. (Boulder Beat)
- Shorter winter seasons mean lower reservoir levels. A recent study indicates that that climate change is impacting the amount of snowfall in the winter, and that's impacting high country reservoirs that collect the melted snow. (9News)
- Superior's Target damaged in the Marshall Fire is finally reopening. Most of the damage was caused to the big box retailer's store by a faulty water suppression system. The store caught fire during the Marshall Fire is set to reopen on Tuesday, Aug. 30. (FOX31)
- Cyclist seriously injured after being struck in Boulder. The crash occurred on 30th Street between Canyon Boulevard and Walnut Street. A 21-year-old man was taken to the hospital with serious injuries after being struck by a driver Monday night. (Yahoo!)
- State of Colorado issues Suncor permit. The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment has determined that the oil refinery in Commerce City can continue operating, with more strict air pollution monitoring. Community activists vow to keep fighting. (CO Sun)
