Stacy Soappman has been invited to speak at the 2019 American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists' Annual Conference.

Physical Therapist Stacy Soappman has been invited to speak at the 2019 American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists’ Annual Conference in Orlando, Florida, on Oct. 27. Soappman practices at MEND Colorado, located at 2760 29th St. in Boulder. She is also a faculty member of the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy and an adjunct physical therapy professor at Andrews University.
Soappman will deliver a presentation entitled “Manip Like a Girl: Work Smarter, Not Harder.” The lecture will highlight learning how to handle patients larger in size than the physical therapist, and how to do it with more efficiency and effectiveness. The course is not exclusively for women, but for anyone who wants to learn how to treat patients larger than themselves. We will teach you that speed and body mechanics, not size, dictate how well one can manipulate.
Soappman received her physical therapy and doctor of science in physical therapy degrees from Andrews University. She completed fellowship training through the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy in 2011.
