Man Arrested In Boulder Robbery, Burglary Cases
A man was accused of using a machete to threaten people in Boulder, police said.
BOULDER, CO — A man was arrested in burglary and robbery cases in Boulder, police said Thursday.
John Paul Gadreau, 31, faces multiple charges, including aggravated robbery, first-degree burglary, felony menacing, second-degree burglary and felony criminal mischief, the Boulder Police Department said.
A man went outside his home in the 1500 block of Spruce Street around 9:45 p.m. Monday and saw a man in the bushes. The man pulled a machete out of his backpack and made a threat before walking away, according to police.

Then people said they saw a man burglarizing their house in the 2100 block of Grove Circle at 4:50 p.m. Tuesday. The man began to pull out a machete from his backpack and threatened the residents, before riding away on a bicycle, police said.
Then a woman said she saw the man riding her stolen bike on Wednesday. She called police and John Paul Gadreau was arrested.
