Man Falls 200 Feet Boulder County Glider Crash
A 49-year-old man had to be airlifted to a Denver hospital after crashing his hang glider into the side of a mountain.

BOULDER, CO – A man had to be airlifted to a Denver hospital after he fell more than 200 feet in a hang glider crash Thursday, the Boulder County Sheriff's Office reported.
The 49-year-old man was hang gliding alone east of the 300 block of Pine Needle Road when his glider crashed into the side of a hill around 4 p.m., the sheriff's office said.
Rescue workers found he had severe injuries to his legs, back, and possibly his head. He was airlifted to Denver Health.

Responding agencies included Boulder County sheriff's deputies, American Medical Response (AMR), Rocky Mountain Rescue (RMR), Boulder Mountain Fire, and Boulder City Parks Rangers.
No update was given on the man's condition Thursday night.
