BOULDER COUNTY, CO — A man was found dead near Gregory Canyon Thursday, the Boulder County Sheriff's Office said. The man was reported missing by a family member who was concerned about his welfare.
Search and rescue teams were called to search for the man around 7 p.m. Wednesday. The crews searched Boulder Open Space and Mountain Parks property, but high winds prevented them from continuing with the tracking dogs, officials said.
A second search was launched at 7:30 a.m. Thursday, and around an hour later, city rangers found the man's body, the sheriff's office said.
