- Bike thefts in metro Denver continue to increase. Who is stealing all these bikes, and who is buying them? CBS4's Brian Maass digs in, and discovers a murky web of online sellers and bike justice vigilantes. (CBS4)
- Boulder County to adopt new fire-resistant home building requirements. On Thursday, the Boulder County commissioners adopted the new set of rules for newly constructed homes, sparked in part, by December's Marshall fire. (CO Sun)
- Project aims to bury planet-warming carbon. A first-of-its-kind in project in Colorado, will take the carbon dioxide that's produced at two ethanol plants in northeastern Colorado, and pump it into a saline aquifer almost a mile underground. (CPR)
- Shots fired by Boulder Police while trying to arrest car-jacking suspect. A suspected car-jacker was taken into custody near the Table Mesa bus stop. No injuries were reported. (9News)
- Buying a new home isn't always cheaper (or easier) than buying a used one. New home buyers are finding out that the initial price that lured them in, is far less than what they end up paying for a new home in today's real estate market. (5280)
