  1. Casey Middle School student charged after threatening school violence. A 14 year-old middle school student has been charged after making threats to shoot and bomb the school last May. (FOX31)
  2. Boulder County fire departments create united program wildland fire training. All six of Boulder County's paid fire departments have banded together to create a county-wide training program that will prepare firefighters for the next wildfire that breaks out. (Yahoo!)
  3. When will Boulder launch its guaranteed income program? The program that will provide a monthly income of $500 every month, with no conditions or restrictions, still doesn't have the funding needed to operate. A vote by city council to approve the funds is anticipated sometime this summer. (Reporting Lab)
  4. City of Boulder to offer grants from $500k fund. Beginning June 6, companies impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic will be able to apply for grants for qualifying small businesses and state-licensed, non-home-based child care businesses. (Boulder)
