- Driver that killed Boulder cyclist pleads guilty. The cyclist was killed in 2021 on Lee Hill Road by George Laws, 70, who pled guilty on Monday to careless driving that resulted the death of Alejandro Acosta, 39. Laws will be sentenced on Dec. 9. (Yahoo!)
- Thirty-eight more Boulder-based Twitter employees quit. The embattled social media platform continues to shed workers, as its new owner, Elon Musk, makes moves that include cutting more than half of the company's workforce. (9News)
- Grocery store merger plan faces challenges from U.S. lawmakers. U.S. senators expressed skepticism about the proposed merger between grocery giants Kroger and Albertsons. "Fewer local options mean less competition to keep prices low." (FOX)
- Winter weather brings wild cats closer into town. As temperatures drop and snow falls, it means increased mountain lion activity. These wild cats have been known to venture into Boulder search of food, which is triggering an official warning to follow the recommendations included in this story to keep your property and family safe. - Asteroid mining company selects Colorado for its new HQ. The Netherlands based company, Karman+, has selected Denver for relocation of its headquarters. The company plans to mine near-earth asteroids for mineral resources. Karman+ will bring 150 employees to the Denver area. (Colorado)
