- Is the new normal a fire season that lasts 365 days a year? Saturday's NCAR Fire in South Boulder is yet another reminder that we are in for more fire emergencies as the state gets drier from climate change. (Reporting Lab)
- Old Town Lafayette food hall coming soon. A plan has been submitted to the City of Lafayette that will transform an old gas station into a food hub. The North Public Market will be located at 210 N. Public Road, and plans show that there will be four individual kitchen stalls, two indoor bars, with indoor and rooftop patio seating. - Fire ravages apartment building in Boulder. 24 families were displaced early on Friday morning after Boulder apartment complex caught fire near 28th Street and the Diagonal Highway. (9News)
- Hiker rescued near Chautauqua Park on Friday. A 25-year-old man was dehydrated and had severe cramping near the Royal Arch Trail. The Rocky Mountain Rescue Group responded, and was able to supply electrolyte drinks and snacks to the hiker who was then able to walk from the trailhead with an assist from the rescuers. (KKTV)
- Dramatic changes likely coming to RTD bus routes in Boulder. RTD is planning to shift its bus services – which could translate into even fewer buses in Boulder – a move will affect more than just transportation. (Boulder Beat)
