Here are the top stories today in Boulder:
- Man arrested for taking inappropriate photos at Flatirons Crossing. Broomfield authorities are concerned that there may be more victims at the Flatirons Crossing Mall. A woman reported that Jacob Padilla-Lesperance was allegedly taking photos of women up their skirts without permission. (CBS4)
- Denver spending $9 million to buy another motel to house the homeless. In 2021, Denver announced the city was purchasing The Stay Inn motel, which has 96 units, but ran into issues trying to fund the purchase. Now, with COVID-19 money still flowing into the city, the city is move forward with the purchase of the building located near 38th and Peoria. (Westword)
- Higher number of wolves in Colorado sought by advocates. The Endangered Species Coalition supports the reintroduction of gray wolves in Colorado, but the group is questioning the plan that was released last week by Colorado Parks and Wildlife. (KDVR)
- Tri-demic hitting metro Denver hard. Two years ago, it was COVID-19, but this winter, those living in metro Denver are facing what officials are calling a "tri-demic." With COVID-19, flu and RSV spreading fast, hospitals up and down the front range are filling up and impacting both adults and children. (Colorado Politics)

- Single use bags won't be free next year in Boulder. Beginning Jan. 1, 2023, all large stores will be required to charge a 10-cent fee for every single-use bag used at checkout. Learn more about the upcoming changes. (Boulder)
- Boulder County DMV moves to appointment only model. On Dec. 5, the county's Department of Motor Vehicles has gone to an in-person system that requires an appointment. Renewals will now be online, by mail or using a self-serve kiosk. (BOCO)
