Here are the top stories today in Boulder:

  1. All four on board a crashed airplane was pronounced dead. The small plane that crashed in Lefthand Canyon on Sunday morning also sparked a wildfire near the 10,000 block of Lefthand Canyon Drive. An evacuation warning was issued for the areas near Gold Hill and Ward. (CO Law Week)
  2. Teenage mountain biker sustains life-threatening injuries in Lefthand Canyon crash. A 16-year-old boy was injured while mountain biking on trails with a group of riders on Saturday, on U.S. Forest Service land that was described by the rescue team as "steep and rugged." (FOX31)
  3. After the fire: Should we be wary of things to come? Rainfall this weekend near a burn scar in Fort Collins created a serious flooding issue after more than one inch of rain fell in a matter of minutes. (CPR)
  4. Boulder alt-meat startup, Meati, plans national expansion. Meati makes a retail debut in some Sprouts Farmers Market stores, and the company has its eyes on expanding nationally later this year. (Le Lizard)
