  1. Scientists from NCAR are using aircraft to collect climate data. Scientists are using a new state-of-the-art facility in Broomfield at the Rocky Mountain Airport that is helping to get data from the planes and quickly analyze it for their research. (9News)
  2. Boulder consolidates its homeless services. Boulder has launched a new homelessness services dashboard. The new dashboard covers all of the screening processes, as well as program referrals, shelter utilization, exits out of homelessness and the BTHERE homelessness outreach efforts with Boulder Shelter for the Homeless.   3. Nederland has a new mayor. Billy Giblin will be Nederland's next mayor following Tuesday's special election. He defeated the town's mayor pro tem, Tom Mahowald, receiving 254 votes to Mahowald's 215. (Nederland)
  4. Expensive bicycles are a hot property for thieves in Boulder. With students returning to campus, the number of bikes reported stolen goes up. It's an instant target, police warn that expensive bikes on campus are sitting ducks. (Reporting Lab)
  5. Arrests are up at Denver's Union Station, but is it any safer? The crime-plagued transit station was called a "lawless hellhole" last year by the RTD union. Since that time, more than 900 arrests have been made. (Out There)
