Here are the top stories today in Boulder:

  1. No-growth bill dies in committee. Proposed legislation that would have banned Colorado cities from imposing limited growth polices died at the statehouse on Tuesday. (CPR)
  2. Marshall Fire victims want to keep an RV on their burned-out lot while they rebuild. A Superior family is hoping to get a reprieve from the rules so they can get their lot cleaned up and start rebuilding. (CBS4)
  3. Lake Powell water levels may drop below critical level in the next two weeks. Officials from the Colorado River Basin are sounding the alarm as the water level at Lake Powell is nearing its lowest elevation at which Glen Canyon Dam can generate power. (CO Sun)
  4. Battey wants to return someday to coach the Buffs. After the Buffaloes 79-63 upset of the #2 Arizona Wildcats, senior Evan Battey told the crowd he will return to coach the team someday. (CBS4)
  5. Bill that would incentivize water-wise landscaping moves forward in state legislature. Known affectionately as the 'turf replacement program,' if passed, the Colorado Water Conservation Board would have to create a program that would financially incentivize residents to replace irrigated grass with water-wise landscaping.
