- Exposure to pollution during pregnancy may be associated with lower cognitive scores in early childhood. New research from the University of Colorado has found that "toddlers whose mothers were exposed to higher levels of air pollution during mid- to late-pregnancy tend to score lower on cognitive, motor coordination and language skills." - Boulder Shelter CEO leaving after only three months on the job. The Boulder Shelter for the Homeless has seen a change in leadership, as the newly appointed CEO, Greg Morris, is leaving the organization after only three months. Michael Block, previously head of housing for the shelter, has taken on the role of interim CEO. Morris was appointed as CEO in September of last year and started the job in Boulder last October. - Reservoir owned by Denver Water won't allow ice fishing this year. Ice fishing at Gross Reservoir will be closed for the rest of the 2022-23 winter season due to ongoing construction of the Gross Reservoir Expansion Project. (9News)
