Here are the top stories in Boulder today:
- Reservations not required at Eldorado Canyon State Park again until next May. The park's summer reservation system that launched in July is winding down for the winter, and beginning today, no reservations to enter the park will be required. (FOX31)
- Controversial decision that had written off Denver's urban waters as too polluted to save has been reversed. Colorado Department of Health and Environment will add water quality protections for the South Platte River and other regional waterways. (CO Sun)
- Boulder County set to offer tax rebates after wildfires. Boulder County is offering property tax rebates up to $3,500 to anyone that rebuilds their home that was lost in either the Marshall Fire or 2020's Calwood Fire. (9News)
- Colorado is one of the worst when it comes to road rage. A recent survey released by Forbes indicates that Colorado has one of the highest incidents of road rage in the U.S. The results may shock you. (Out There)
- Metro Denver politicians flew to Houston to discover the secrets of its sucessful homeless program. Houston has generated national attention for its homeless plan, so metro Denver leaders headed south on a junket to witness first-hand the Texas city's approach. - Ron Stewart Preserve at Rabbit Mountain set for prescribed burn. The park may be closed Friday, Sept. 16, for a prescribed burn. The park will reopen Saturday, Sept. 17, at sunrise. If conditions are not favorable for operations the park will be open on Friday. (BOCO)
