A lockout at Northglenn High School has been lifted.

NORTHGLENN, CO — A lockout at Northglenn High School has been lifted after a weapon was found on a student Tuesday morning. The student was taken into custody, school officials said.
Police received a tip that someone in the school had a weapon, according to a letter to community members from school officials. Officers were able to confirm that the student had a weapon and it was seized. No one was harmed.
Police were gathering information and speaking with students. The investigation was ongoing.
