Patagonia Opens First Worn-Wear Pop Up In Boulder

Patagonia is celebrating the opening of its first dedicated Worn Wear pop-up store in Boulder.

BOULDER, CO — Patagonia's first dedicated Worn Wear pop-up store in Boulder will open Thursday. The new business, at 1212 Pearl Street, will be open through February, the brand announced.

The store will be stocked exclusively with Worn Wear items, which are used Patagonia products that have been bought back from customers. The business will also include Patagonia's ReCrafted Collection, a new line of products made from other clothing that was beyond repair.

The Boulder pop-up store will also host regular repair and upcycle workshops.

Worn Wear is Patagonia’s program to help extend the end of life of its products and reduce their environmental footprint, the company said.

Patagonia repairs more than 100,000 items each year in 72 repair centers around the world, the brand said. Patagonia also takes Worn Wear on the road in the United States with mobile repair stations, which have been to more than 135 stores, specialty retailers, colleges, design schools, surf towns, fishing towns, ski resorts and climbing festivals. The stations fix any garment, regardless of brand.
