- Boulder selected for urban heat island study. Boulder will be included in an upcoming NOAA study that will map the hottest parts of 14 cities around the U.S. Additional cities selected for the program include: Las Vegas, Nevada; Jacksonville, Florida; Milwaukee, Wisconsin; New York and San Francisco. - Man found dead near Sanitas. Sunday afternoon the body of a 21 year-old was found near the Mount Sanitas Trail in Boulder. At this time, authorities don't suspect foul play. The cause of death, along with identification of the deceased, will be determined by the Boulder County Coroner's Office. (Boulder)
- PFAS chemicals to be banned from some products sold in Colorado. State lawmakers have approved a bill that will ban some items that include the 'forever chemical' from being sold in the state as early as 2025. (Patch)
