Presidential Primary 2020: Ballots Sent To Boulder Residents

Ballots are in the mail —​ here are drop box locations and deadlines.

BOULDER, CO — Elections officials have begun mailing ballots for the 2020 presidential primary to voters in Boulder County. Ballots can take up to eight days to arrive.

On Jan. 18, ballots were mailed to all military and overseas voters.

Coloradans will cast their votes in three elections in 2020 — the first of which is on March 3 — Super Tuesday.

Elections officials are encouraging Coloradans to make sure they are registered to vote and that their voter registration is up to date.

Important upcoming dates

Feb. 24: Voter Service Centers open. This is the last day to register and still be mailed a ballot and the last day to request a replacement ballot be mailed to you. Note: Colorado doesn't have a registration deadline. Eligible voters can register and vote on the same day at any Voter Service Center. See eligibility requirements.

Feb. 27, Feb. 28 and March 2: Election Open House & Ballot Processing Center Tours will be held in 30 minute sessions. RSVP and choose your time slot here.

Mar. 3: Election Day. All ballots must be received by 7 p.m. (postmarks do not count).

Elections officials are also reminding voters that 17-year-olds who will turn 18 years old by the General Election Nov. 3, 2020, can now vote in the primaries.
