Public Art: Have Your Say In Boulder
Drop in to the Public Art Town Hall Dec. 5 to help the city choose 2018 art projects.

From the City of Boulder’s Office of Arts and Culture: The Office of Arts and Culture will be updating the Public Art Implementation Plan, which serves as the long-term work plan for the city’s public art opportunities. The Public Art Town Hall is an informal opportunity to gather community feedback on the public art projects for the coming year. To view the current Public Art Implementation Plan, visit https://boulderarts.org/public-art. This event is free and open to everyone, and attendees may drop in anytime throughout the 90 minutes, and RSVPs are not required.

The public may also attend the December 2017 and January 2018 meetings of the Boulder Arts Commission to provide feedback and track the progress of approving the updated Public Art Implementation Plan. Information about meetings of the Arts Commission can be found at https://boulderarts.org/bac/bac-meetings-agendas. Additional outreach will occur throughout 2018 as projects begin.
The City of Boulder’s Office of Arts and Culture is currently implementing Boulder’s Community Cultural Plan. Through a set of programs including cultural grants, public art, initiatives that support artists and the creative economy, and research, the office supports the community-created Vision for Culture: Together, we will craft Boulder’s social, physical and cultural environment to include creativity as an essential ingredient for the wellbeing, prosperity and joy of everyone in the community.
