  1. A bear returns and takes hundreds of photos on live cam. A team that uses cameras to monitor wildlife and capture images upon detecting motion were surprised when they discovered that a bear had taken more than 400 selfies in front of the camera. (APR)
  2. The suspect in the King Soopers shooting remains unfit for trial. Judge Ingrid Bakke ruled last week that Ahmad Al Aliwi Alissa, 23, is still mentally incompetent. Alissa' mental condition has delayed court proceedings for the past year. (CO Sun)
  3. Another library closes after meth contamination is discovered. The Arvada Library in Jefferson County has closed temporarily after testing revealed that the building had been contaminated by meth. It's the forth public library in Colorado that has been impacted. (KDVR)
  4. Dark days ahead as western states struggle with water shortages. How the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation is dealing with the deadline it set for western states to come up with a plan to deal with water cuts for nearly 40 million people that use water from the Colorado River, is documented in this story.   5. A rent control bill proposed by state legislature would grant cities the power to implement rent regulations. Legislators hope to develop a tool that will allow municipalities to stabilize soaring rent prices in Colorado.
