A very bad year for football in Colorado – but it turns out CU is going all in to to replace their head coach. Former NFL football star, turned coach, Dion Sanders has confirmed that CU has offered him the head coaching job. (9News)
  2. Can CU's Global Climate Summit live up to the challenge of solving the humanitarian crisis climate change is going to create? The Right Here, Right Now Global Climate Summit will be hosted Dec. 1-4 on the CU campus. The summit will feature, to some degree, CU's environmental research and sustainability efforts.   3. Can old motels solve the homelessness crisis in metro Denver? Old motels are taking the heat off of Colorado's homelessness crisis. The City of Denver has helped several nonprofits purchase motels will provide hundreds of housing units. (COSun)
  4. Skip the turkeys. Hundreds of elk show up in Loveland on Thanksgiving Day. A huge herd of elk descended on a Loveland, Colorado neighborhood last Thursday and was captured on video. (Unofficial Network)
  5. Boulder District Judge allows lawsuit to continue that claims Xcel Energy is to blame for Marshall Fire. The plaintiffs allege that Xcel Energy's equipment "substantially caused or contributed to the cause, origin and continuation" of the fire last December. To date there have been no official reports issued that have determined the cause of the fire. (Summit Daily News)
