- Veterinarian in Boulder County believed to have fraudulently obtained fentanyl. Lindsay Oklesh was indicted by a federal grand jury on Thursday on charges of "obtaining a controlled substance by misrepresentation, fraud, forgery, deception and subterfuge." (9News)
- Getting more kids on the slopes is a win-win-win. Christy Sports has partnered with Loveland Ski Area and Monarch Mountain to provide discounted season passes for kids as a way reduce the costs of winter sports for families and get more kids outdoors. (EIN News)
- Timed entry ends at Rocky Mountain National Park for the season. After Oct. 11, entry permits will no longer be required to enter the park. It's possible that longer lines and congestion may exist, so be prepared for longer than normal lines, especially on weekends. (KDVR)
- State of Colorado outdoor recreation grant recipients announced. The Colorado Outdoor Recreation Industry Office has announced 10 recipients that will receive the first round of Outdoor Recreation grants. The grants are designed to promote strategic economic development across the state. More than $3.8 million is expected to be distributed this year. (Valley Voice)
