Rock Climber Dies Near Boulder Falls
The climber's body has been recovered, the Boulder County Sheriff's Office said.
BOULDER, CO — A rock climber died after falling near Boulder Falls Friday, the Boulder County Sheriff's Office said.
The sheriff's office was called to the scene at about 6:25 p.m. Friday, and after launching a search, found the climber unconscious about 20 minutes later above Boulder Falls, the office said.
Medical personnel began administering first aid, but the climber was fatally injured and pronounced dead at the scene.

The Boulder County Coroner’s Office and the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office are investigating the death.
The climber's identity has been withheld pending the notification of next of kin.
