📢 I'm looking for business owners and marketers in Boulder who want to build awareness, connect with customers and increase sales.
I have a limited number of sponsorships available to introduce our Boulder Daily readers to local businesses they need to know about. If that's you, then I invite you to learn more and secure your spot now.
Here are the top stories today in Boulder:
- Lafayette community rallies to save prairie dogs from fumigation. The 150 or so prairie dogs have caused their share of problems near the WestGate Office Park, and the owners association wants them gone– but the plan presented only relocated some of them, and would kill the rest. (7News)
- Brasserie Ten Ten survives the pandemic, returns to serve another day. Opened in 2003 at 1011 Walnut Street, and having been closed for more than two years, the French-inspired bistro is officially reopening. (Reporting Lab)
- RTD appoints a new police chief. The Regional Transit District announced the selection of Dr. Joel Fitzgerald Sr. as the beleaguered transit agency's new top cop. Fitzgerald has more than three decades of law enforcement experience and has been a police chief in four cities. He's got big job ahead of him trying to sort out what's been brewing across the district's transit system. (Denverite)
- Businesses that survived the pandemic now struggle with increased rents and finding employees. If it's not one thing, then it's another. The businesses that made it through COVID-19 are now finding the post-pandemic harder to recover from. (Your Web News)
- Does a human poop in the woods? Regional parks and open space officials are asking the public to pack their own poop out — instead of leaving it in the parks. (CPR)
