Skier Dies After Colliding With Tree At Eldora Mountain Resort
A 37-year-old skier sustained critical injuries Thursday in an accident, the Boulder County Sheriff's Office said.
BOULDER COUNTY, CO — A skier died Thursday after he collided with a tree at Eldora Mountain Resort, the Boulder County Sheriff's Office said.
First responders were called to the mountain, at 2861 Lake Eldora Ski Rd., around noon, officials said. Upon their arrival, they found the 37-year-old man with critical injuries.
A Flight for Life helicopter was launched, but the man died from his injuries on the mountain, the sheriff's office said.

No other skiers were involved in the collision, officials said.

"Based on witness accounts, there is no indication at this time that anything suspicious occurred," the sheriff's office said.
The man's identity and cause of death will be confirmed by the Boulder County Coroner’s Office.
