Sunday Weather Forecast For Metro Denver, Boulder
Here comes a big temperature drop, rain and snow.
While many Coloradans are rarely leaving their homes under the stay-at-home order, anyone who was planning a backyard family barbecue or Easter egg hunt Sunday is about to be disappointed. There is a 100 percent chance of precipitation in Denver's metro area and Boulder Sunday, according to the National Weather Service.
A high of around 28 degrees is expected in Denver's metro area, and Boulder's high will be around 25, weather officials said. Winds could gust up to 23 mph in both regions.
Snow is expected throughout the day in Boulder, but in metro Denver the snow could taper off around 4 p.m. Up to 5 inches of snow is expected to fall in some regions.

Snow showers are expected Sunday night, with a low of around 15, weather officials said. The chance of snow will drop to around 70 percent.

Monday will see a 60 percent chance of snow showers in the afternoon in Boulder, and a 50 percent chance in metro Denver. Up to an inch of snow is possible in some areas. The wind gusts will slow to around 5 mph, and then pick up in the evening to around 15 mph.
Monday night you can expect a 50 percent chance of snow showers in all regions.
