- Unwanted development still a focus for some in Superior and Louisville. Despite the huge losses from the Marshall Fire, community push-back to the irreversible environmental impacts of large-scale development, has residents and developers fighting over what the vision of the area's future will be. - Getting a small ski area's lift restarted in southern Colorado rests on one final permit. Cuchara Mountain Park's supporting nonprofit, Panadero Ski Corporation, has been working to fund and fix a 40-year-old ski lift on the mountain, and says it needs one last permit to turn it on. (Gazette)
- Cheyenne officials look to Longmont for affordable housing model. Cheyenne's population is growing, and a recent Affordable Housing Task Force report produced by the city, showed that there needs to a greater focus on how to provide more affordable housing. (WY Tribune Eagle)
