- Advocacy group forms to support Marshall Fire victims. The Superior Rising group was founded in January to help serve the long-term needs of residents impacted by the fire that nearly wiped out the town. (9News)
- Orange Tabby Cat burned in the the Marshall Fire needs to find his family. The Humane Society of Boulder Valley is searching for this kitty's missing his family. CBS4)
- Colorado Court of Appeals revives Arkansas River right-to-wade access. Public access on rivers that wind through private property has been a thorny issue in Colorado for decades, and this case re-kindles the battle. (CO Sun)
- Freight train derails in Denver, dumping train cars into South Platte River. Multiple BNSF train cars derailed early Saturday morning, seven empty lumber cars of the train derailed, three of which ended up in the river. (CBS4)
- Sisters open bakery in Highlands Ranch. Two sisters that are 13 and 11, are making all kinds of sweets including a Valentine's Day collection of chocolate-covered strawberries and cheesecake cones. (9News)
