  1. Climate activist dies after lighting himself on fire on the steps of the U.S. Supreme Court. Wynn Bruce of Boulder died over the weekend after setting himself on fire in an apparent climate change protest, police said. (Patch)
  2. Investigators believe a campfire started the NCAR wildfire. The remains of the campfire have been found a few feet off a trail on public open space near the National Center for Atmospheric Research where a wildfire burned nearly 190 acres. It's not yet known how old the campfire was or who had started it. (CPR)
  3. Broomfield lawmaker arrested on suspected DUI. Rep. Matt Gray was trying to pick up is his kids from school when he was arrested by police on suspicion of driving under the influence. (CO Sun)
  4. Every Colorado taxpayer will get at least $400. Gov. Polis announced a $400 stimulus check for taxpaying Coloradans in August or September. (Patch)
  5. Metro Denver auto thefts continue to increase. According to the Metropolitan Auto Theft Task Force, Colorado is the number one state when it comes to stolen vehicles on a per-capita basis. (9News)
