- Two detained after big party on the hill. Boulder police had to break up large party on University Hill. Police arrested two people after breaking up the Fourth of July revelry on Monday night. (CO Daily)
- Louisville celebrates Fourth of July as a post mortem to the Marshall Fire. It's been a rough year for those that live in Louisville, so the city's 4th of July celebration was a great way for friends and neighbors to connect and rebuild their community after December's wildfire ravaged the city. - CU scientists study ways to make carbon-negative cement. The CU research team has discovered how to make cement using carbon negative materials from microalgae. Traditionally, limestone is extracted from a quarry, and then and burned at a high temperature. (CO Daily)
- Two hospitalized in tubing accident in Clear Creek. A group of four was tubing in an area that was posted as a no tubing area along Clear Creek along Highway 6, near Tunnel number 1. (CPR)

- Lawn service equipment stolen from University of Colorado student. Last week, a CU student that has been doing summer yard work for the past five years, had his vehicle stolen. The theft has forced him to rent tools until he can save up enough money to replace the stolen gear. (FOX 31)
- Info session about 30th Street and Colorado Avenue transportation projects. The City of Boulder will be presenting multi-modal improvement plans for this area at upcoming info session on Wednesday, July 20, from 6 to 7 p.m. (Boulder)
