Here are the top stories in Boulder today:

1. The University Of Colorado Police Department has signed a pledge to hire more female officers by 2030. The school's police force already has an above-average number of women, and now it has committed to doubling that percentage from 15 to 30 percent over the next eight years. Thanks to the UC Police Chief's encouragement, all PAC-12 universities with permanent police chiefs have signed the "30 by 30" pledge. (CBS Denver)
2. A bipartisan post-election Canvass Board voted unanimously Monday afternoon to certify the results of Boulder County's 2021 election. The report, which now will be forwarded to the Colorado Secretary of State's Office, was voted on by County representatives Lynne McNamara (D) and Joseph Green (R), and Boulder County Clerk Molly Fitzpatrick (D). This year's election included three statewide ballot issues, a number of City Council and school board contests, and several municipal or special district ballot questions.(Colorado Hometown Weekly)
3. The Boulder County Public Health Department issued guidance this week ahead of what's expected to be a busy holiday season. As flu and COVID-19 outbreaks continue to hit the county and strain hospitals, officials urge vaccinated residents ages 18 and older to get a booster dose of the COVID-19 vaccine if they received their second dose of Pfizer or Moderna at least six months ago, or received the Johnson & Johnson vaccine at least two months ago. 4. Feet Forward, Second Baptist Church of Boulder, and other community members are hosting a free community meal at the Boulder Bandshell in Central Park, 1212 Canyon Blvd., from 3 to 4 p.m. on Thanksgiving (Thursday, Nov. 25). (Colorado Daily)
