Ward Man Arrested In Connection With Multi-County Crime Spree
Authorities from several Colorado counties joined forces to find a man accused of ID theft, burglary and vehicle theft.
BOULDER COUNTY, CO — Deputies and police from Boulder County, Estes Park, Louisville and Glenwood Springs joined forces to find man who was wanted for ID theft, burglary, vehicle theft and bond violations, according to the Boulder County Sheriff's Office.
Forrest Gillard, 33, was arrested Thursday by Glenwood Springs police and he's currently being held in the Garfield County Jail. He faces multiple charges, including burglary, motor vehicle theft, identity theft and theft over $100,000 in at least four criminal cases in different counties. The cases all occurred within a three-day period, the sheriff's office said.
The cases included two from the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office, one from the Estes Park Police Department and one from the Louisville Police Department.

The Boulder County Sheriff’s Office issued an affidavit arrest warrant for Gillard Oct. 5, which included a Louisville Police Department’s auto theft case and a search warrant issued for Gillard’s home in Ward.

The Boulder County Sheriff’s Office recovered a large amount of stolen property and one stolen vehicle at Gillard's home, authorities said.
The Estes Park Police Department filed an affidavit arrest warrant for Gillard Oct. 9.
