Winter Weather Advisory Issued For Boulder

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Boulder.

BOULDER, CO — The National Weather Service has issued weather alerts for Boulder and the metro Denver area. A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued from midnight until to 9 a.m. Monday.

Up to three inches of snow is expected to fall overnight and winds could gust up to 35 mph, weather officials said.

"Mixed precipitation of light freezing drizzle and snow [is] expected," the alert read.

The National Weather Service urged drivers to slow down and use caution while traveling.

"Plan on slippery road conditions," the alert read. "The hazardous conditions will likely impact the Monday morning commute."
