Winter Weather Advisory Issued For Metro Denver, Boulder
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Denver's western metro area and Boulder.
The National Weather Service has issued a weather alert for Denver's western metro area and Boulder. A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued from 5 p.m. Sunday until 5 a.m. Monday.
Up to six inches of snow could fall in some regions over the next 24 hours, weather officials said.
Metro Denver and Boulder residents can expect rain and snow showers to develop Sunday afternoon, then snow in the evening.

"Snow may be heavy at times this evening with snowfall rates in excess of one inch per hour possible," the alert read.
The agency urged drivers to slow down and use caution while traveling.

"Plan on roads becoming slippery this evening with icy and slushy roadways and possibly snowpacked by late evening." the alert read.
