Woman Injured In Boulder Shooting, Man In Custody

A man has been taken into custody after a shooting in Boulder, police said.

BOULDER, CO — A 36-year-old woman was injured in a shooting in Boulder Wednesday afternoon. A man, believed to be in his mid 40s, was taken into custody after the shooting, the Boulder Police Department said.

The woman was shot near 3550 Frontier Ave. at about 2:30 p.m., police said. She was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The man and woman knew each other, according to police.
