Woman's Body Found Near Ranger Trail In Boulder County

Police were searching for a missing woman, and a body was found that matched her description, authorities said.

BOULDER, CO — A woman's body was found by a hiker Tuesday morning near Ranger Trail, the Boulder County Sheriff's Office said. The body matched the description of a person who was reported missing.

The woman, who was in her mid-20s, was found just after 9 a.m. near the trail. Authorities do not believe her death is suspicious.

Someone reported a missing family member just after midnight, and told authorities that she may be near the Flagstaff Road area, possibly on or near one of the hiking trails.

Several agencies searched for the woman overnight. Trails in the area were closed during the search.
