Broomfield Flaming RV Caused By Electric Glitch: North Metro Fire
Electrical malfunctions caused an RV to catch fire in a Broomfield storage facility Dec. 7, North Metro Fire has determined.

BROOMFIELD, CO -- Electrical problems appear to have caused a recreational vehicle to burst into flame at a Broomfield storage facility Thursday, North Metro Fire District determined Friday, according to the district's public information officer. The fire district investigators ruled the fire "accidental" Friday.
A driver was moving the RV at Generic Storage in the 7600 block of West 116th Avenue, when the vehicle started to burn, North Metro said. The driver was able to escape uninjured before the flames spread inside the camper van. Fire fighters were able to extinguish the flames, but the vehicle was totaled.
