Broomfield Mayoral Candidate Accused Of Sexual Assault: Report
Broomfield mayoral candidate Kevin Kreeger said he was falsely accused of sexual assault, according to a report by The Denver Post.
BROOMFIELD, CO — A Broomfield City Council member and mayoral candidate hosted a meeting at his home last week to dispel rumors about sexual assault accusations against him, according to a report by The Denver Post.
Kevin Kreeger said that in 2006, while he was married, he had consensual sex with a hitchhiker in Clear Creek County, The Post reported. The hitchhiker later accused him of sexual assault.
In a cryptic letter posted to his campaign website, Kreeger addressed "rumors," however he did not use the words "sexual assault" or mention any details about the so-called rumors.

"I will not speak to what is in a sealed file. I have addressed this matter in a letter to my supporters more than a week ago — and more than that I have addressed it in the system of due process years ago," Kreeger's letter read.
