The City and County of Broomfield is still operating under the COVID 19 Dial Public Health Order. As such, if the data dictates, the State could impose more restrictive measures if unintended spikes occur from holiday gatherings, the newly discovered B.1.1.7 variant — which we know spreads more rapidly than the COVID-19 possibly leading to more infections/hospitalizations, and the approaching re-openings of businesses and schools.

How this impacts the Back to Business Certification Program:
- Businesses are encouraged to continue applying for Back to Business Certification at Broomfield.org/BacktoBusiness to be eligible to move one level lower on the Dial than the county at each step.
- The first round of businesses will be able to operate under “Level Orange: High Risk,” until Broomfield reaches two weeks of level-orange metrics, which could be as soon as January 11, based on the data.
