IMPORTANT MESSAGE REGARDING A PAUSE IN THE MARIJUANA LICENSING PROCESS

At this time, the City will temporarily pause the marijuana licensing process for a period not to exceed 60 days in order for staff to reassess the submission of applications from different, but affiliated entities. The City is in the process of considering administrative regulations to clarify this issue to ensure that the licensing process moving forward is consistent with the City Code, City Council’s intent when it implemented this robust licensing process, and fundamental fairness.
Any dates previously scheduled in the licensing process will be rescheduled. The City will post the new schedule publicly and will directly inform each applicant.
While no further comments will be made on the pending litigation, questions regarding this pause should be directed to manager@broomfield.org.
Thank you.
