The City and County of Broomfield is pleased to announce two finalists for the Presiding Municipal Judge position.

Upon the announcement that the current Presiding Municipal Judge, Randall Davis, is retiring, Broomfield’s Mayor and City Councilmembers led a nationwide recruitment to fill the position starting on Dec. 7, 2020.

Of the twenty-four applications received, twelve were deemed qualified and were evaluated by the Mayor and City Council on Jan. 4, 2021. First screening interviews were conducted by City Council with four candidates on Jan. 8, 2021.

The Mayor and City Council identified two finalists listed below and requested they be invited back for the Community Forum with City Council on Jan. 21, 2021. The Community Forum will be held at 5 p.m. via Zoom. A final decision will be announced and published on upcoming agendas once the recruitment process is completed.
