DEA, Police Raid Dozens Of Pot Grow-Ops In Metro Area
Federal agents raided dozens of marijuana growers in a federal trafficking investigation, according to a report.

THORNTON, CO — Police and DEA agents swarmed a Thornton home Thursday morning in a multi-part marijuana grow-op raid in dozens locations, according to reports. Jace Larson with Denver7 has been tweeting updates of the raids.
The DEA agents are serving the search warrants in the related to a federal investigation, Larson reported. It was a metro-wide operation, with five operations busted around Adams Street in Thornton.
While recreational marijuana is legal in Colorado, Larson reported the agents are investigating marijuana trafficking outside the state and targeted operations they believe shipped the pot out of state.

At least two people have been detained.
