Emergency Alert: Be Prepared For A CodeRED Test In Broomfield
Local law enforcement and emergency services will be testing Countywide Emergency Notification (CodeRED) systems Dec. 4

BROOMFIELD, CO -- Want to make sure you're in the loop for emergency notifications from local police, fire and EMS services? Register your phones (cell and landline) and email addresses for the CodeRED emergency notification system.
On Dec. 4, Jefferson and Broomfield Counties emergency services agencies, including law enforcement, fire and EMS, will test their emergency notification system starting at 9 a.m. The process is expected to take several hours.
The CodeRED system is used by emergency services agencies in Jefferson and Broomfield counties to help spread emergency information when critical incidents happen. This week, portions of Adams and Clear Creek Counties will also be included in the CodeRED notification.

Landlines are automatically included in CodeRED notifications, but residents and businesses are encouraged to visit the CodeRED registration web site at your911.net to add additional contact information, including additional cell phone numbers, SMS (text) and email address preferences. Residents may also elect to receive severe weather notifications.
