3 Suspects In Custody After Bomb Found Outside Colorado Walmart
The stolen truck was parked outside a Walmart store in the 4600 block of West 121st Avenue, police said.
BROOMFIELD, CO — Three suspects were facing multiple charges Sunday after a pipe bomb was found outside a Colorado Walmart store, prompting authorities to tell the public to avoid the area. Broomfield Police identified the suspects as Zach Richard, 30, John Ulibarri, 48, and Heather Moore, 28, after a bomb squad swarmed the area to investigate the report of a pipe bomb.
The incident began Sunday morning when officers found a stolen pickup truck outside the store in the 4600 block of West 121st Avenue. A bomb squad was deployed to the scene and disassembled the pipe bomb, police said.
Police said the suspects face multiple charges, including possession of weapons by previous offenders and explosives or incendiary devices possession. The three suspects were transported at Broomfield Jail where they are being held.
