- On Saturday, Nov. 6, a suspect riding a black & yellow dirt bike fired shots into a vehicle, killing 32-year-old Jessica Maez of Colorado Springs and wounding her husband. Pikes Peak Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of $500 for information leading to arrest of this person, and recently, a citizen has added $1,000 to the reward for information leading to the arrest of the suspect. The incident occurred in the 3600 block of Galley Road. (FOX21News.com)
- The El Paso County Sheriff's Office is investigating an industrial accident that left one person dead Tuesday. The El Paso County Sheriff's Office confirmed that one worker was crushed by a piece of equipment and died from his injuries. According to a KRDO photographer at the scene, several construction workers were seen forming a prayer circle. (KRDO)
- Pine Creek High School's award-winning Creek Theatre will mount "Sense and Sensibility," based on Jane Austen's classic book. It runs Thursday through Saturday at the high school. (Colorado Springs Gazette)
