App Makes Statewide Colorado Bus Service Easier, Says CDOT

Bustang riders between Colorado Springs and Fort Collins, and along I-70 will find ticket purchasing easier with new app, CDOT said.

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO -- For Coloradans weary of the drive north between the Springs and Denver, the Colorado Dept. of Transportation has just made their coach service north a bit easier with a new Bustang app.

Bustang riders now have another way to purchase tickets. The new JustRide Bustang mticketing app allows riders to purchase single ride, 10-ride, 20-ride or 40-ride passes and view schedules and fares, CDOT announced Friday.
With the new app, passengers no longer need to scan their ticket when boarding. They simply activate the ticket and show it to the driver when getting on the bus, a press release from CDOT said.
“The new JustRide Bustang app provides riders with a leading technology that’ll make their experience more convenient,” said CDOT's Division of Transit & Rail Director Mark Imhoff.
Bustang offers daily coach service through the I-70 corridor between Glenwood Springs and Denver, and along I-25 between Fort Collins and Colorado Springs. Ace Express of Golden operates Bustang for CDOT.

Masabi, a company that develops mobile ticketing for public transit, launched its JustRide Platform for Bustang’s new app.
