- The Colorado Springs Police Department has arrested a woman on Sunday after allegedly swinging an ax at people downtown. The woman has not been identified. The department reports that no one was injured during the incident. (Colorado Springs Gazette)
- A head-on collision on Highway 24 leaves one man dead on Sunday. State Patrol responded to the accident and tried to send both drivers to the hospital but one of the drivers died while the medical helicopter was en route. Investigators are looking into whether fatigue was a factor in the collision. (KKTV 11 News)
- Actor George Takei addressed cadets at the Colorado Springs Air Force Academy. Takei's speech was at the Annual National Character and Leadership Symposium touching on topics of race and militarism. Takei also spoke with the academy's Spectrum Club students on Feb. 22 about understanding different perspectives. (FOX21News.com)
