Caught On Camera: Stolen Credit Cards Used In Superior

A woman who allegedly snatched a wallet from a Boulder shopper's cart was later filmed trying to use a stolen credit card in Superior.

BOULDER, CO -- Boulder police released a photo of a woman accused of snatching a wallet from a shoppers purse at a grocery store.

Around 12:27 p.m. May 24, the woman allegedly "used a distraction technique" to get her hands on another shopper's wallet in a cart at the Boulder Trader Joes in the 1900 block of 28th Street. The woman left the store with the wallet and got into a maroon Jeep Compass, driven by another woman, police said.

Later at a Superior Target, the woman was captured on surveillance video trying to make a purchase with the stolen card, police said.

Police asked anyone who may have information on this case to call Boulder police at 303-441-3333.
